About
Meet Deanna
The really meaningful stuff… Deanna Davis loves to laugh, learn, and support others in living their lives by design rather than by default. She is the mother of four amazing kids, the young (and hip!) grandmother of two, and the wife and business partner of her best friend, Michael (affectionately referred to as “a really big dude”). She lives in a “little house on the prairie” on the outskirts of Spokane, Washington, where she alternates between appreciating the stunning vistas and managing her aversion to the many critters who make their home in rural areas.
Much to her family’s chagrin, she will dance in inappropriate public places to particularly upbeat songs and will answer truthfully when waiters ask her “how is your meal?” (yes, good or bad). She is an admitted laughaholic and a strong proponent of adding chocolate as a key component of the USDA Food Pyramid. Once that campaign is successful, she will turn her attention toward advocating for the addition of artisan cheeses and fine red wines. Her most embarrassing moment (so far) was performing the first act of her one-woman show with her zipper undone.
The stuff that some people seem to care about… Deanna Davis is the author of three books: The Law of Attraction in Action, Living With Intention, and the Laugh, Cry, Eat Some Pie and is an accomplished professional speaker, coach, and consultant. She thinks the best route to success, satisfaction, and self-care is through a serious commitment to your sense of humor.
Known for her characteristic blend of humor and how-to, Deanna merges powerful research with practical strategies for transforming your life. Health, wealth, happiness, and success—they all depend on what Deanna refers to as “the big power of small.” Small changes, small steps, and small investments lead to big—and lasting—results over time.
Deanna shows you how to use incremental changes to detour around the fear and stress that can undermine your best intentions. Instead, she helps you learn how to use your internal compass to travel from where you are now to where you want to be. By taking small steps, you can harness the momentum from minor wins to help you sail to your next level of success and satisfaction.
Deanna earned her Ph.D. in Leadership from Gonzaga University and her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington. Her client list includes companies such as Microsoft, Farmers Insurance, Pacific Gas & Electric, Gonzaga University, The State of Washington, The US Forest Service, and the National Management Association.
